When a friend told Erin RavenSkye about WomenOnCall.org's Meet & Match event, she knew it would be the perfect opportunity for her. Driven by a desire to give back to the community, Erin wanted to find a way to volunteer her skills and expertise. While at the event, the meeting with Child's Play Touring Theatre (CPTT) turned out to be quite serendipitous. Erin's aptitudes and skill sets matched perfectly with CPTT's needs, and they even had many networks in common.
Initially, Erin thought she could help administratively. But when the venue for CPTT's upcoming fundraiser fell through, Erin leveraged her resources to acquire the ideal location for the event. In addition, Erin was active with event coordination, drafting event agendas and other documents, coordinating fundraising components and managing other office tasks. Erin has also taken charge of creating, maintaining and fully utilizing a number of social media tools for CPTT which has helped to get the word out about the organization.

About Child's Play Touring Theatre:
The mission of Child's Play Touring Theatre (CPTT) has been "to share, encourage and validate the creativity of children by presenting original works of theatre, music and dance adapted from stories and poems written by young authors." Child's play workshops and performances stimulate young people's imaginations and offer new insights into the world in which they live.

By combining the imagination of children with the talents of professional theatre artists, Child's Play has created a variety of educational programs - writing master classes, workshops, classroom instruction and residency activities - that have a tremendous impact on enhancing literacy and arts curricula. Partnering with the State Attorney's office for almost a decade, CPTT brought the "Do the Write Thing" violence prevention programs into various at-risk schools. Working with the Gallery 37's Connection program, CPTT assisted a variety of young people willing to share their creative gifts.
CPTT has served 4 million audience members and has continued to grow and evolve for the past 3 decades. The organization has many aspirations for the future, including a green initiative that will showcase a new piece,"
