Happy Pro Bono Week!
In 2009, the American Bar Association hosted its first Pro Bono Week to celebrate lawyers who volunteered their work pro bono or “for the public good.” However, since Pro Bono Week's inception, the term “pro bono” has evolved to mean so much more. Professionals are now offering their skills free-of-charge or at low cost to nonprofits in a variety of sectors including consulting, marketing, technology and accounting.
At WomenOnCall, we are thrilled to work with talented women who donate their time to assist nonprofits in need across the country. Check out our skills list to see ways you can volunteer your time orread how individuals have impacted nonprofit organizations by working pro bono.
Thank you to all WomenOnCall volunteers for making an impact!
If you are not a member, join WomenOnCall today to get started on a pro bono project.
